| ● Short arc lamps, as point light sources which provide high luminance and color temperature, continuously emit a highly stable uniform spectrum of light. Short-arc lamps are dosed with xenon gas and mercury or other specific gases. They emit UV through the process of the discharge of electricity: As the initial arc is struck by the xenon gas, the voltage will increase as the mercury and specific gas vaporizes. They radiate light that is the closest of all artificial light sources to sunlight. |
